Ingredients
1 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup white sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 (15 oz) can cream-style corn
• ½ (4 oz) can chopped green chiles, drained
• ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
• ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup yellow cornmeal
• 4 tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in cream-style corn and green chiles.
Fold in cheeses, then mix in flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
