This hearty one-pan dish combines savory sausage and tender roasted sweet potatoes coated in a sticky, sweet-savory glaze. Ingredients
2 lbs sausage (Italian, chicken, or spicy – sliced or whole)
4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup honey
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
1 tsp lemon zest (optional, for brightness)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment or foil.
Prepare glaze: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, paprika, chili flakes, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Toss & arrange: In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes and sausage with the glaze until coated. Spread in an even layer on the baking sheet.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until sweet potatoes are tender and edges are caramelized.
Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
