All the flavor of your favorite sandwich—minus the bun! This Philly Cheesesteak Skillet is loaded with seasoned ground beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and gooey melted cheese. It’s low-carb, one-pan, and ready in 30 minutes for the ultimate weeknight win.
Ingredients
1½ lbs ground beef
1 tbsp butter
1 medium yellow onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
½ red bell pepper, sliced
½ yellow bell pepper, sliced
¼ cup beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
1½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp minced parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, brown ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess grease if needed.
Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Return peppers and onions to the skillet and mix well.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top. Cover with a lid and let melt, about 2–3 minutes.
Garnish with parsley if using, and serve hot!
