Description

This breakfast casserole is a quick-fix hero — packed with savory bacon (or ham), melty cheddar, and just the right touch of veggies. It’s hearty, customizable, and perfect for busy mornings or weekend brunches. Just mix, bake, and dig in!

 


Ingredients

6 large eggs, whisked

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

6 slices bacon or ham, diced

2 slices bread, cubed

1/3 red bell pepper, diced

2 green onions, chopped

3 tbsp milk

1/2 tsp minced garlic (optional)

Salt & black pepper to taste


Instructions

Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small baking dish.

 

Layer ingredients: Spread cubed bread on the bottom. Top with cooked bacon/ham, red bell pepper, green onions, and cheese.

 

Mix eggs: In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic (if using), salt, and pepper.

 

Assemble: Pour egg mixture evenly over layered ingredients in the dish.

 

Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden on top.

 

Cool & serve: Let sit 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
