Description
This vibrant spread is a flavor bomb—sweet dried cranberries, herby cilantro, a spicy kick from jalapeño, and rich cream cheese. Doubling the batch makes it perfect for parties, and we’re adding a touch of honey, toasted pecans, and extra lime for a crave-worthy balance of creamy, tangy, sweet, and spicy.
Ingredients
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup loosely packed cilantro
2 jalapeños, seeded for mild or leave some seeds for heat
½ cup chopped green onions
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp lime juice (fresh is best)
2 tbsp honey or sugar-free syrup (optional, for a sweet contrast)
½ cup toasted pecans, chopped (for texture and depth)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a food processor, pulse cranberries, cilantro, jalapeños, green onions, and lime juice until finely chopped but not pureed.
In a separate bowl, whip the cream cheese until fluffy.
Fold the cranberry mixture into the cream cheese. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and honey (if using).
Stir in toasted pecans for a subtle crunch.
Chill for at least 1 hour to let flavors blend.
Serve with low-carb crackers, cucumber rounds, or celery sticks.
